What is the difference between Manual Lymphatic Drainage and The Detox by Rebecca™ method?
The Detox by Rebecca™ method, developed by Rebecca Faria, differs from regular lymphatic drainage by incorporating customized maneuvers and specialized equipment. While both techniques share the same principles of stimulating lymphatic flow and promoting detoxification, the Detox by Rebecca™ technique offers unique movements, and tools designed to enhance results on all body types. This specialized approach can lead to more effective outcomes and require fewer sessions compared to traditional lymphatic drainage.
Vacuum RF Lymphatic Drainage Treatment
This machine-assisted lymphatic drainage technique with vacuum radiofrequency helps to improve the health of your lymphatic system. This technique helps flush excess fluid and toxins from your tissues and move it to your lymphatic system, one of our main drainage pathways. The results are a leaner look, reduction in bloating or swelling, improvement in skin tone, improved mood, and increased metabolism.
Each Vacuum RF Lymphatic Drainage session is 60 minutes. Your therapist will perform a combination of dry brushing and use a machine to help move fluid to the lymphatic system for drainage. She may also use other special sculpting tools to help your lymphatic system work more effectively.
Manual Lymphatic Drainage Treatment (MLD)
MLD is a special type of various light hand technique, different from standard massage, which creates movement of the lymph toward various lymph ducts to decongest the system. While still offering the same benefits of Vacuum RF, Manual Lymphatic Therapy is a better fit for situations of greater focus on more sensitive areas, including the head, as well as focusing on pre/post-surgery sites.
Not only does a lymphatic drainage treatment help to alleviate water retention and give you an overall leaner look, but the lymphatic system is also directly associated with whole-body functions. You can experience improvements in your circulatory, respiratory, and endocrine systems. Facial Add-on to Lymphatic Drainage Treatment
Facial Add-on Lymphatic Drainage Treatment is a gentle massage technique, done by hand, that improves the flow of lymph fluid in the face. Facial Add-on MLD, done with slow, gentle movements is specifically designed to move the fluid towards nodes and out of the face ultimately improves the appearance of the skin by reducing puffiness (which may enhance natural contour and features), dark circles, and fine lines.
Facial Lymphatic Drainage Treatment may also improve complexion by reducing the toxic load that may be contributing to acne, reducing redness and inflammation. Facial MLD improves blood flow which can promote collagen production, but also brings more oxygen to the face which promotes healing, too.
What Happens During a Treatment?
Lymphatic Drainage Treatment can be performed as a single session. More frequent sessions may be recommended for best results. You can receive a Lymphatic Drainage Treatment once a week. Maintenance is typically done once a month.
